He could have removed the aftermarket parts, sold them seperately from the car, and probably made out ahead in the long run. Instead, he cut the framerails off because he figured it'd be easier to pull the heads to sell, then pulled the motor anyway. The chassis was a pile of scrap, not even usable as a track car. It was a total waste of a running TT, which don't exactly roll off the assembly line anymore. If you crash it and part it out, then okay, you're making the best of a bad situation. But to completely (and foolishly) waste a good car simply to fund whatever it grabbed his attention was completely inexcusable. Certainly not something a true enthusiast would do.
